Havn is committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality and security of your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy describes the Personal Information that Havn collects from or about you, as well as how we use and to whom we disclose that information. In this Policy, when we use the terms “Havn”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, we are referring to Havn Saunas Inc. 

“Personal Information” means information that you to provide to us or that we may gather, and includes, without limitation, your name, address, telephone number, email address, billing information, and details of your bank account. Personal Information also includes records of transactions processed using the Havn website or services. Personal Information does not include an individual’s business contact information when collected, used or disclosed for the purposes of enabling the individual to be contacted in relation to their business responsibilities.

By using Havn’s services, accessing the Havn website or by choosing to make disclosure, you are consenting to Havn’s collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information, for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. 

INFORMATION COLLECTION 

We may collect information related to your visit to our website, including the IP address and domain used to access our website, the type and version of your browser, the website you came from to access our website, the page you entered and exited at, any website page within our website that is viewed by that IP address, and what country you are from. 

We may collect Personal Information when you open an account with Havn, when you offer or promote your product using the Havn website or services, when you use the Havn website, or when you purchase any products offered using the Havn website or services. 

We may also collect Personal Information relating to your interactions with our website, which may include advertisement content or banner delivery, counting click-throughs on an advertisement or banner, tracking website views following a click-through, sales tracking, and website usage statistics. 

From time to time, you may arrange to make payment to or to receive payment from Havn by wire transfer to your bank account. For that reason, we may also ask you to submit details of your bank account to facilitate payment. 

USE OF INFORMATION 

We value your trust. We will not sell, rent, lease, give, or share your Personal Information without your authorization.

Once collected, Personal Information may be used in one of the following ways:

  • To process, validate and verify purchases of products and services offered by Havn.

Havn uses a payment processing service. We will not use any service that does not have privacy protections in place that will protect your Personal Information to the same or to a greater degree than ours. 

In certain special cases, we may disclose your Personal Information when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to you, or otherwise injuring or interfering with Havn’s rights, property or operations, other Havn users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. We may also disclose your Personal Information when the law requires it, or in response to any demand by law enforcement authorities in connection with a criminal investigation, or civil or administrative authorities in connection with a pending civil case or administrative investigation. 

Personal Information that you post to a community-based website, personal entry site, chat room, public bulletin or forum is available to all users and visitors to that site. We cannot control, and will not be responsible for the use, disclosure, or dissemination of that information by any third parties. 

USE OF COOKIES 

A “cookie” is a piece of data and information that is automatically stored on a user’s computer hard drive by a remote server. Cookies are used to track an Internet user’s clicks to ensure that they are directed to the correct click-through destination site. 

From time-to-time we may use cookies as a reporting system to track the effectiveness or frequency of display of an advertisement or banner campaign, and to track the performance of our business partners to ensure proper payment for their sales and tracking activities relating to their business relationship with Havn. 

We do not use cookies to collect Personal Information. 

The use of cookies by our partners is not covered by our Privacy Policy. We do not have access to or control over these cookies. Additionally, some of our partners may employ clear graphic images, commonly known as “Web Beacons” or “Web Bugs”, which are images and scripts that help them better manage their content on our website. We do not tie any information gathered using the Web Beacons or Web Bugs to your Personal Information. 

LINKS 

Our website may contain links to other websites that may be subject to less stringent privacy standards. Those websites are not governed by this Privacy Policy and Havn makes no representations or warranties as to their practices for dealing with your Personal Information. We do not assume any responsibility for the privacy practices, policies or actions of the third parties that operate these websites. Havn is not responsible for how such third parties collect, use or disclose your personal information. You should review the privacy policies of these websites before providing them with personal information. 

SOCIAL MEDIA WIDGETS 

Our website may include features integrated with popular social media websites, such as the Facebook Like button, Widgets, such as the Share This button, or interactive mini-programs that run within our website. These features may collect your IP address and which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie for proper functioning. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it and NOT by this Privacy Policy. 

PRODUCT INFORMATION 

From time to time, we may offer you the option to receive information (such as product updates, new product offerings, or other information that may be of interest to you). You will not receive that information unless you agree to do so and “opt-in”. 

If, after opting-in, you decide that you no longer want to receive that information, you can “opt-out” by clicking the unsubscribe link in any communication we send to you, or by sending a request, with the word “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line, to info@havnsaunas.com

ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION 

Once you have submitted Personal Information to our website, you will have the opportunity to access that information to update, delete or correct it. 

If you have created a profile as a merchant or affiliate, you may login to your account with us and update the information there. You may update your email address from the ‘Profile’ link, and your other information from the ‘Setup’ link. 

If you did not create a profile on our website, you may access your Personal Information by sending a request for access to the address noted below. 

SECURITY

Personal Information collected by Havn is stored in limited access servers. Havn takes reasonable precautions to protect the information that has been collected and to safeguard the servers where such information is stored.

Havn will retain your Personal Information only as long as necessary to conduct the applicable business or to maintain your account with Havn. 

Havn does not collect or store credit card information. 

REMOTE VULNERABILITY SCANNING

Our booking partner, Checkfront, undergoes regular PCI Compliance scans to ensure we are PCI DSS compliant. These scans check for known vulnerabilities and common security holes in server configurations. They are performed by our security compliance provider, Trustwave.
